Joshua Ford is an Midwest based photographer / filmmaker providing commercial images, video work, portraiture and editorial work to a diverse client base including members of the US Senate and Congress, architects, punk rock bands and experimental musicians, manufactures and industrial clients, and corporations of all sizes.  His work and these clients have taken him beyond Illinois and the midwest to Italy, Ireland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tucson, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Houston and New Orleans in recent years.

In 2015, he formed a second company, Ford & Brown, with photographer AJ Brown, with the specific goal of creating architectural narratives (via still and moving images) for the AEC industry.  (FordandBrown.com)

Joshua studied English at the University of Illinois, where a film class set him on the path to a career in the visual arts. The love for film remains, he has partnered with the Figge Art Museum and programs/sponsors Cinema at the Figge, a bi-monthly film series created to engage and inspire filmmakers/artists/cinephiles in his hometown.

Beyond client based work lingers a passion for documentary projects, fine art photography, analog photography (medium format and 35mm), music and film..

The thing he cherishes most is his family: Aimee, Brody and their pugs and french bulldog (Buzzo, Bubu, and Boyo).
