25 years of experience in photography + video has put Ford in a unique position to comfortably handle the needs of large organizations, small businesses, makers and artists.  

Joshua Ford is a Los Angeles + Midwest based photographer / filmmaker providing commercial and documentary still photography & video to a diverse client base.   

A film class at the University of Illinois in 1995 set him on the path to a career in the visual arts. The love for film remains, he has partnered with the Figge Art Museum and programs/sponsors Cinema at the Figge, a bi-monthly film series created to engage and inspire filmmakers/artists/cinephiles in his hometown. 

In 2022, Ford launched a new venture: a record label and book publisher called The Garrote .  The Garrote specializes in experimental music and photobooks, working with a wide range of artists from around the world.  The Garrote will publish Ford's first photography book, spanning almost 25 years of personal work.
